CRK / CRS Companion for Nigerian Christian Families: A Daily Bible Plan (2026)

CRS in Nigerian primary schools moves through the Old Testament, the Gospels and Acts. A daily 5-minute quest at home means your child walks into Monday's CRS class already familiar with the passage.

Why a home Bible plan changes everything

Weekly Christian Religious Studies (CRS/CRK) is powerful — but a child forgets 80% of anything they only meet once a week. Five minutes a day, seven days a week, beats an hour once a week every single time. That's not opinion; that's how memory works.

A weekly plan any Nigerian family can run

- **Monday** — read the week's key passage together. 2 min.

- **Tuesday** — retell the story in your child's own words. 3 min.

- **Wednesday** — memorize the week's verse. 3 min.

- **Thursday** — one open question: "What does this tell us about God?"

- **Friday** — recite the verse and pick one way to live it this weekend.

- **Saturday** — a family prayer using the verse.

- **Sunday** — carry it into Sunday school — your child already knows the passage.
