These Terms govern your use of ArkQuest (the "Service"), operated by ArkQuest("ArkQuest", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
ArkQuest is a Bible-learning app for Christian families that gamifies daily Scripture engagement through quests, badges, streaks and family features.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have parental consent) to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- infringe intellectual-property or other rights of any party;
- interfere with security (probe, scan, distribute malware, scrape, or reverse engineer);
- resell, redistribute, or attempt to circumvent technical or usage limits.
4. Intellectual property
ArkQuest retains all rights, title and interest in the Service, including software, documentation, designs and the ArkQuest brand. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service on the plan you have purchased.
5. Payments, subscriptions & billing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Stripe handles payment processing, tax calculation, fraud prevention, and dispute handling on our behalf in supported countries. ArkQuest never sees or stores your card details.
Refund policy
ArkQuest offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order date.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact our support team via the in-app support channel with the email you used at checkout, and we will process the refund through our payment provider.
Subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you retain access until then. Refunds for partially-used billing periods after the 30-day window are at our discretion.

6. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security/fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may request export of your data for a reasonable period before deletion.
7. Service level & warranties
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify ArkQuest for claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at ArkQuest's principal place of business. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
