The Lost Sheep
A shepherd left 99 sheep to find 1 that was lost — because every single one matters to him.
Big idea
You are the one God would go looking for.
Read-aloud
1. A hundred sheep
A shepherd counted his flock — 97, 98, 99. One was missing. He knew every sheep by name.
2. Off to search
He left the 99 safely and went out looking. Over rocks and through valleys, calling for the one lost sheep.
3. Found!
When he found it, he lifted it onto his shoulders and carried it home.
4. A big party
He called his friends and threw a party. Jesus said, 'That's how heaven celebrates when even one person comes home to God.'
